Abrasion Resistant & HSLA Steel Sheet
Triple-S Steel®is a trusted steel sheet supplier for commercial and industrial customers. Our steel sheets range from 28 gauge (0.0149 inches) to 7 gauge (0.1793 inches) in thickness. Sheet capabilities range from 48 by 96 inches to 72 by 240 inches. ASTM Grades
Steel sheet metal provides solutions for corrosion resistance, tight tolerances, cost-effectiveness, and aesthetic applications:
- A606 high-strength, low-alloy steel
- A1011 hot-rolled steel
- Hot-rolled, pickled, and oiled
- A366 cold-rolled steel
- Galvanized steel
P&O steel and cold-rolled sheets offer enhanced surface quality and dimensional tolerances. Galvanized steel is optimal for exposed environments and corrosion resistance.
Abrasion Resistant Steel Sheet
We also stock a large inventory of abrasion-resistant steel sheet for industrial manufacturing and construction applications. AR200 or AR235 steel are medium-carbon steel containing manganese for improved wear resistance, hardness, and abrasion-resistance. Applications include truck beds and liners, semi-trailers, factory equipment, and other moderate-wear applications.
AR500 abrasion-resistant steel sheet has a Brinell hardness value of 500. This high-carbon steel offers exceptional abrasion resistance, impact resistance, vibration resistance, and wear resistance, at the cost of formability. Depending on the gauge, common applications include mining equipment, construction machinery, concrete mixers, and other long-term or heavy wear environments.
