Triple-S Steel® is the leading supplier of carbon steel in the US. Our Founder, Bruce D. Stein, started selling miscellaneous steel products out of his father’s scrapyard on Jensen Drive. Johnny Stein, an immigrant from Russia, started Dixie Iron & Metal back in 1930 and his son, Bruce, took on his father’s legacy but digressed from the scrap yard business and founded what is now Triple-S Steel. Now, over 60 years later, our extensive network of locations across the US and steadfast team of thousands of steel professionals, we sell over one million tons of steel annually, solidifying our commitment to deliver steel to our customers just in time.
Our inventory
We have an extensive inventory of beams, channel, angle, rebar, and other shapes ready to go. Whether your project is large or small, local or global, we have the capacity and the inventory to make it a success. Our retail locations are equipped with welding supplies, r-panel, and decorative ornamental for do-it-yourselvers, but we also keep inventory for small fabricators serving residential and commercial construction projects.
